HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for dog bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

SPECIALIZED KIBBLE: Adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup

When your small dog has big urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your small dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Low Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And for dental health, the adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin treats to complement your dog’s diet.

We're grateful for Royal Canin!

After our mini-dachshund had to have surgery for a bladder stone, the veterinarian recommended we use Royal Canin Urinary SO. Our dog loves the taste, it comes in a convenient small dog size for her little mouth and teeth, and it fits our needs perfectly. She hasn't had an issue with bladder stones ever since going on this special diet food and we couldn't be more pleased. We're grateful that Royal Canin makes specialty dog food that meets our dog's needs. Thank you Royal Canin!

Morsels just the right size

This food has perfect size morsels for my little Jack Russel mix and just the right amount of crunch, not too hard and very easy to digest. He was a rescue, 12+ yrs old, had extremely bad teeth. My little guy also had bladder stones and this food aided in helping to dissolve them. He at the food with no problem so I knew he liked it. Sadly, he passed away last year but we were blessed to have had the love and affection of this wonderful little boy.

My Dog Loves It!

My dog was prescribed this food by our Vet because of some ongoing urinary problems. Little did I know that our dog absolutely loves this food! If we try to put her on anything else now, she turns her nose up. She is truly spoiled by Royal Canin and she doesn't even know how good it is for her.

My Yorkie Gobbles It Up

This was especially recommended by my Yorkie's vet after having bladder stones removed, as a preventative measure going ahead. Since then no stones and all A++ marks at checkup time.
