HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie dog food (11% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Dog Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for dog bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your dog has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (11% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry dog food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet.

Does its Job!!!!

I have been using Moderate Calorie SO on many of my Corgi Rescues as they have a propensity to have crystals and stones. It has done the trick and keeps the pH level in their urine and the Moderate Calorie keeps the weight off too!!! I also had a terrier mix with vWd that had oxalate stones in his ureter. Due to do vWd surgery was not an option. I figured I would lose him due to the stones, but started him on the SO to see. Well, he lived 7 years longer eating SO and xrays periodically showed to stone growth a bit of shrinkage of stone actually and we lost him to old age at the ripe age of 16 years. I believe without the SO diet, he would have never seen 11 years.....

Life saver

Our dogs were started on this due to recurrent bladder stone formation and from that time forward we have not had any more stones. It has saved my dogs from the pain and discomfort as well as any subsequent surgeries and the associated costs. One other important factor is that they still like the taste and are quick to let me know when their bowl is empty!

SO has made such a differnce!

My Shih Tzu has a history of bladder stones. Hundreds of Bladder Stones. She has had 2 surgeries and they were very costly. I am so THANKFUL my vet suggested SO. It has made a huge difference in the quality of my Shih Tzu's life!!!

No more stones!!

Our golden retriever has been having problems with bladder stones since he was a puppy. We originally were trying to feed urinary SO temporarily and switching back to regular dog food mainly because of cost concerns. However his stones returned and was in visible distress...and he was restarted on urinary SO 8 years ago and continues to eat it everyday! Worth the cost!

prevents vet visits

I have been feeding this to Tristan for several months now and he is doing well. He had Struvite crystals and so was started on this. I use the canned for treats only, the dry for meals. His weight is excellent, and I am so glad they have the moderate calorie or he would only be able to have a very little amount. He loves the food, never a problem eating!

Healthful and tasty!

When my dog has to go on a diet to protect her urinary tract, I was very concerned because she is such a picky eater. I was so thrilled that she loved it at first taste. My other dog has been known to sample a few bites on top of her Royal Canin food!

My dog he urinalysis tract stones and had to have surgery for them last year. He was prescribed this food by his vet and has been on it ever since. We have had no more issues and he eats it up every day!
