HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for dog bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your dog has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet.

With nearly 50 years of scientific research and observation, Royal Canin continues to deliver targeted nutrition to feed every pet’s magnificence. Not satisfied? Then neither are we. Our veterinary exclusive formulas are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. (Just contact us for more details.)

My dogs health is paramount to me

My Miniature Schnauzer, Max was diagnosed with bladder stones about five years ago. My vet put him on Royal Canin SO for his bladder stones, and in those five years, he has had only one flare up of crystals show up. After a round of antibiotics he was good as new. I believe him being on this food has prevented him from having to undergo surgery for bladder stones. The food has kept his crystals to a minimum, and he is 10 years old today! I am certain this food has another benefit in my home. My other two Mini Schnauzers also eat this food, because it is difficult to feel one dog one specific thing, and so we have them all on it, since the breed is prone to calcifications in their bladders. I have a 13 year old girl, Misty, and an 8 year old girl, Sofie. All are doing great on Royal Canin also.

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet is the brand that my dog's veterinarian suggested years ago after my dog had kidney stones removed. This is the only food that I buy for him and my dog eats it up. He has not had kidney or any urinary issues since being on this food!
