HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for dog bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your dog has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet.

With nearly 50 years of scientific research and observation, Royal Canin continues to deliver targeted nutrition to feed every pet’s magnificence. Not satisfied? Then neither are we. Our veterinary exclusive formulas are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. (Just contact us for more details.)

Works

The food works great with my dog who had recurrent urinary infection prior to using it. It is just on the pricey side. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose dog needs a little help.

My dog really seems to like it!

My dog is required to have the Urinary S/O diet due to bladder stones, and he is really picky about his food. He seems to really like his new food and I am pleased to have a brand be such good quality for him.

Great for dogs with re-occurring bladder infection

My dog had re-occurring bladder infections for 2 years, which involved strong antibiotics to clear up, but would re-occur after a month off the antibiotics. Since being placed on this food for the last year, my dog has not had any bladder infections. My only complaint is that they don't make a grain-free formula for large dogs.

My pets love it, and it works!

Several years back my husband and I decided to foster a beagle mix that we name Opal from animal control so she wouldn't be euthanized. I worked at a vet and we found out she had a tendency to produce crystals in her urine. At first we put her on Science Diet CD, but when the vet I worked at began selling Royal Canin a rep came to do a lunch n learn and I decided to switch to SO, it just seemed like a better product for my dog. When we realized she was going to have to be on a special diet, we just decided to adopt. That was over 5 years ago and she has had no urinary issues since! I also have a cat name Mister Orange that is on feline Urinary SO. He was abandoned in a box with the rest of his litter where I worked. I adopted him because he has a leg deformity. He began having UTI's and got blocked twice, and ultimately had to have a perineal urethostomy, but I continue to feed him SO because of his history of UTI' s and he is also doing great. While the food can be costly, it is worth it for the peace of mind.
