HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

So far so good for my Ragdoll

The vet recommended this food in 2013 when I adopted my Ragdoll, Paul Newman. He has been eating this food since February of 2013 and we have had no issues.

Cats love the taste

Our 3 large male cats love this food and they even chewed a hole into a new bag before we opened it.When they hear the kibble being poured into the bowl they take off running to be first to the bowl..In the 4 years they have been on this food we have had no crystals or stones and one cat has had only one urinary tract infection. This food does its job and they love it.My only concern is that it has so many corn products in it that our other cat a female who is diabetic can not eat this food even though she likes it.

My cat loves Royal Canin SO!!

My cat Atticus who is 9 years old has been of Royal Canin SO for the past 6 years since he had surgery for a blockage. He loves SO and even purrs when he's eating it. He just had his yearly checkup and he has weighed the same for the past 3 years which is great! His teeth are in excellent condition and his overall health is great thank to Royal Canin SO!

It works!

I started buying and feeding this product to one of my cats at the recommendation of my vet, who diagnosed the cat with having crystals. I noticed within a day or two much improvement and my cat can nowadays urinate normally again. Eating a small amount of this product daily seems to be already sufficient for my cat.

My Cats All Eat It and No Reoccurrin Health Issues

One of my cats was hospitalized for a severe crystal blockage in his bladder, once he got healed up our vet recommended the Urinary SO dry cat food to prevent future crystal build-up. It's been 3 years and we haven't had any re-occurring health issues. We ended up feeding it to all of the cats and they all enjoy it. I highly recommend this food if you cat is susceptible to crystal formation in the bladder.

Good for my kitty!

I have been using this for my male cat (vet recommendation) since he had calcium deposit issues. The food has helped to keep him from getting those deposits again, and it is moderate calorie so he can lose the weight he has gained eating other cat food. It is quite expensive, but we must care for our animals in the best way possible!
