HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

LVE THIS FOOD!!!

I changed my cats to this after having them on hills c/d moderate calorie for several years, what a big difference! The change was made when my middle cat (I have 3, 2 with uti lifes) started having lose stools and couldn't figure out why. The dr suggested I changed them to the SO, so I do and i couldn't be happier! Their coats are healthier, stools are way better then they ever were and there's no begging for food in between meals! Another side note, hills food always left my food bin greasy at the bottom royals food there isnt even so much of a crumb left at the end! As a vet tech I'm a believer in seeing a product work, and give this product a full backing! Don't think I'll ever use hills food again!

Urinary Health

We bought the Feline SO at the recommendation of our Veterinarian. One of our cats was having issues with Crystals even after drastic surgery. He got them monthly. Now he may get them once or twice a year.

Great for my cats health

My cat was diagnosed with urinary stones, and he is also overweight, so this is the cat food that my veterinarian prescribed for him. He loves the flavor and hasn't had any urinary issues since.

My cats love it!

One of my cats has crystals, as well as consistent red blood cells in his urine. He tried a different brand, prior to switching to this one, and it didn't help. This works. My second cat is a little chunky, so I used the moderate calorie one for both (they share each others food). He's been on it for a couple of years, now, and is happy and healthy, and always ready to wake me at 5 am for a refill.
