HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

Crystals

One of our cats has been on this diet for 8 years...that means the other 4 have no choice...but they like it and it keeps them from going to the vets. They don't like the wet S\O cuz it's shredded. Oh well!

Great Dry Cat food

My vet put my kitty on this after we discovered she had some blood in her urine and had developed some small kidney stones. She took to the new food right away. Her urine output and drinking increased and her stones dissipated. She can't get enough of this food and it has helped her kidney issues.

Cats beg for it!

I have used Royal Canin for both my cats and dogs for years. Recently, during a move I switched to another brand of food. My cats were cranky, they were always vomiting and lethargic. My youngest cat was diagnosed with Feline Urinary Tract Disease recently and I made the switch back to Royal Canin SO. Ollie is so much more comfortable and playful. His coat is back to normal- shiney and soft, and he no longer gets sick after eating. Royal Canin is all I will use from now on.

Works wonders

I had a cat that had urinary crystals. Needed emergency care. Would not eat another brand of food vet put him on. He loved this and other 3 male cats wanted to have it also. Cheaper option than emergency surgery so I put all on it. No more worries of crystals again
