HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

"Keepin them Alive"

When younger my sweet cat Rapha was rushed to the Vet in serious trouble. Rapha was unable to urinate causing severe pain and he was diagnosed with crystals in his urinary track. My Vet was wise enough to prescribe "Royal Canin Veterinary Diet "Feline Urinary SO Moderate Calorie." Since being on this product for 5 years now, my sweetie Rapha is thriving and has not had another incident with crystals in his urine. My other 3 cats are also taking this product as it would have been impossible to treat one cat when I have four. My cats are 6 to 7 years old and I am happy to report that they are all in tip top shape. Their weight is perfect, they have the energy of young cats and spend their days frolicking and playing when not soaking up the sun. This is amazing given their ages and I attribute it to the nutrition Feline Urinary SO Moderate Calorie provides. Besides all having perfect weight, none of my cats have ever experienced any medical problems since on this amazing product. I have complete confidence that my cats will all live long full lives. I also have no worries or concerns about the crystals returning to my sweet Rapha. It's wonderful to have confidence that my pets are receiving the best care, love and nutrition available to them. And that I will be able to enjoy them for a very long time without unnecessary medical concerns...

Prevents crystal formation

I feed 3 of my cats this food since they all have a tendency for crystal formation. My two male cats previously blocked, but since being on the SO moderate calorie there have been no blockages. Their coats look great, and it helps them maintain a healthy weight!

It seems to work

My car hasn’t had stones or urinary problems since starting on this food - and he is a picky eater, but seems to love the taste as well.

Life saver!

This food was recommended by the vet that treated our Mareo for stones. He was very sick near death but nursed back to health and has been eating both the dry and wet for the last 7 1/2 years. So thank you very much for something that has been helping him live a good life!

Forces my male cat to drink more water

My guy has had one surger to remove bladder stones. He has been eating this food for about 4 years since his surgery. We've had no further issues with stones. I notice him going straight to his water bowl when he finishes his meal.

My cat loves it!

Our family cat, Mittens, was a year old when he wound up with a very scary urinary blockage and was told by the vet that if we had not brought him in when we did, we would have lost him. He's been on this food since 2012 and he loves the dry, along with the morsels in gravy 3 oz cans. Very happy with the product!

Perfect product!’

I started my personal cats one this as soon as possible (right after adoption and after the other turned a year old). Not only as prevention from future urinary tract concerns (as they are both boys) but also to solve historical inappropriate urinalysis issues. The added benefit of moderate calorie helps fill their little fat belly’s while watching weight strictly. No one needs a diabetic, urinalysis issue kitty!!

Loyal and Happy For it!

2010 I foster a litter of kittens and they had health issues of one thing or another. Then the big deal where I kept two and one brother is such a loving pet and had to have the ultimate surgery to keep blockage from being an issue. It has been 5 years now and all is going well and I have never faltered on buy this brand of which I am not getting younger either but I have watched the kitten evolve and change and glad what their eating is helping them so much.
