HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for cat bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

Helps with crystals but to expensive

He was put on this food 3 years ago for his stones and his weight. He only gets 1/4 of a cup 2 times a day and is starving all the time and has put on weight. Had everything checked vet said because of his breed mix he maybe just a big cat. But he hates the food but eats it because that is all there is. Helps with stones but that is it. Super expensive for garbage now I have found what they use to make it.

Great but overpriced

I bought this few days ago and my cat needs to only eat this for at least a month but the price is so high

You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

Cats are OBLIGATE CARNIVORES!  That means MEAT! Not “meal” and it certainly does not mean CELLULOSE.  You have incredible nerve charging what you do for this garbage!  Charging what you charge for “chicken byproduct meal” as the only source of protein!!!

Works Wonders for my Cat

My cat is 14 years old, four years ago he was very ill, bleeding when he tried to urinate. He was in so much pain.😔 After I took him to a vet, he was hospitalized for further treatment after it was determined he had crystals. He's been on dry and wet Royal Canin urinary ever since, and he's doing great for a fourteen year old. He does not have any side effects.

Works great just overpriced

My cat was put on this food after a lifesaving surgery. This is all he’s able to eat now! So far he does amazing and his weight has maintained a steady consistency. I’mhappy to say he’s been well since his food change! However the only complaint I have is the price is outrageous 😭 I can barely afford it and sadly it’s not like I can just find him a better home since he now has to wear diapers as well! Plus he’d miss us to much.

Bi-product meal? No thank you!

I will never understand how this is legal. It`s not even close to being adequate nutrition. The ingredients tell a nice story. I was shocked when my Vet insisted I use this
Royal Canin response
By-products are an excellent source of protein, fat, minerals, and vitamins. These foods play many vital roles in a dog or cat’s body by supplying essential amino acids used for building and renewing organs and muscles, supporting the immune system, and supplying energy. By-products from animals and grains used in reputable pet food products are derived from the very same sources as human foods and are safe, nutritious, and approved for use in pet food by federal and state government agencies.

Seems to have a side effect- vomiting

I bought this because my vet told me it was the only food that breaks down the crystals my cat has. However, like others have mentioned, she throws it up when she decides to eat it. She would not eat the wet food.

Life Saver

This food has legitimately saved our male cat, Sirius. He was about to need surgery on his bladder to remove 11 crystals and within 2 weeks of being on this food, there were zero crystals. It’s pricey, but he needs it to survive.

We are so happy for Sirius! Thank you for choosing us!

Cats used to love this

My cats have been on this food for nearly a decade because of urinary stones and used to be crazy for it but now barely eat it. 2 of them are now underweight. I came here to see if there was a formula change but saw all the reviews of cats vomiting from eating it so obviously something is very wrong. The price has also nearly doubled since we first started with it.

Vomitng!

My cat was just prescribed this and did fine with the canned food but he’s vomiting the dry food immediately after eating. I see that others are having the same problem
