Bought this food on the recommendation of my Vet to help manage my Labrador’s weight. His weight is under control now, he wolfs it down, he has energy to spare and his coat looks great! (Stools are firm and healthy)

My dog is pug cross , I was told he's suppose to weigh 20 lbs . In 6 months on Royal Canin Satiety he went from 38.8 lbs to 30.36 lbs . I give him 28 grams of RCS & 2 tbsp milk with water to make a cup for breakfast @ 10 am , between 4 - 5 he gets 28 grams RCS , 1 cesar dog food , 2tsp milk with water , and 14 grams if RCS at 8 pm . Wendell has long legs and a long body like a Corgi .
He's always hungry and looking for food , I have to keep the catfood on a table so he doesn't eat it . Outside if they birds drop suet cake or bird seed on the ground he eats it .

Participated in UT weight loss program and this product was great. Dog loved it and was satisfied. He has food sensitivities and overweight; unfortunately I cannot find it outside of the program.

We adopted a sweet beagle girl back in June who was morbidly obese and needed to lose over 30lbs. Our girl absolutely loves this food and the fat is melting off. We love Royal Canin for our pets!

Why would they prescribe this kind of food for your dog or cat with these ingredients. Please people do your research before you buy dog food. Even if it is recommended from your vet. They are not nutritionist!!

The ingredients we use in our diets are selected because their nutritional value and quality fit the needs of pets, not because they are not needed anymore by human. 30 avr. 2024Dog not Losing Weight with Royal Canin Satiety
I have been feeding my Shih Tzu mix the Royal Canin Wet & Dry Satiety food for the last 6 months. He has not lost an ounce. We go to the park every day and he wrestles with other dogs and runs around so he is getting plenty of exercise. Why isn't he losing any weight? I feed him 4 oz dry in morning 7:30 am and 4 oz wet at 5;30-6:30 pm. At new gets two baby carrots, or a dog treat, at night he gets his teeth cleaning treat. He weighs 24 lbs and should weigh 15-20 lbs.

Vet recommended for my lab ... he was 47.7kg last march 2023 ... went for his yearly ( Feb ) check up and was down to 35.6 kgs ... just needs to loose 1 kg to ideal weight ... has lost 25 lbs

We tried several "weight management" dog foods (non-prescription). My dogs initially ate the other dog food but did not lose weight. Eventually they would tire out and I would have to try another which also did not help them lose weight. This is the only "diet" dog food that helped my dogs reach their goal weight.

My baby girl Harley has been on this diet for about 2 months and she has lost 3lbs already. She was a 16.5 pound Chihuahua and it now down to 13.5lbs. I am so thankful for finding this food and my baby is grateful.

03 mars 2022Palatability concerns, but she came around.
Zoey was extremely underweight when we got her and we over fed her as a result. Once we started a diet for her this was the recommendation. She wasn't interested in eating it at the start but quickly came around.
I was concerned that it wasn't doing anything to help with the weight loss but we made additional feeding adjustments and she dropped a nice amount of weight in the last few months.
We're continuing to feed to get her to that ideal weight and maintain before switching back to an adult formula, or joint support if one is available.
