[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat, Whyskrs, was diagnosed with Renal Failure a few weeks ago and our vet recommended the sampler package. I was reluctant and tried Whyskrs on everything. He liked all three samples of the dry which was surprisingly to me, but made me happy knowingly he will not starve.

Our 15 y/o Ragdoll cat was diagnosed with stage 3 renal disease, so on to new world of permenant Rx. Diets. I tried several brands, wet and dry (we feed both) to see which she liked better, now that her appetite is coming back. She dropped weight very quickly. Se loves your dry food, and does well with it in the litter box, big pproblem she had with the renal support diets, especially at first.I hope that you would consider making a cat treat in the renal support formula. Right now I get a sample bag of the dry food from the company that makes the canned food I use, just to give as treats-5 or 6 at a time. Please consider making a renal failure cat treat, with their sometimes impaired appetite, a treat would certainly be welcome.

I year ago my Little was dx with kidney disease. That’s when I started her on Royal Canin Renal Support. I was told that cats with this dx don’t live past 10-12 years. Well, this past year I have been enjoying every second with my precious baby. Today was her annual checkup and I couldn’t be happier to say that her blood work was actually better than it was 1 year ago. Bless this food and thank you so much to it’s creators.
I had a similar situation with the Urinary SO. My other cat was dx with a bladder stone. We scheduled surgery. In the mean time I started feeding her the SO. When they opened her up for surgery the stone was gone.
Royal Canin is a life saver, literally. Thank you.

I first bought the Hill's K/D and had to take it back, because NONE of my 3 cats would eat it!!!!! They always LOVE Royal Canin products.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried multiple different brands of renal diets, and Royal Canin's types of renal diet. Of all of them, my cat loves the renal A. He was not fond of the renal S. Since using the Renal Diet, his kidneys have improved and his #'s are down. Saved his life and my worry.

vet rx for renal failure, wish it was more appealing for 16 year old ..... she will not eat the RC renal line of products .... but still loves Sheba, Fancy Feast, Iams ....
