[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I'll start by saying I'm a Licenced Veterinarian Technician and recommend this product to our clients. I am also the mom of a Siamese mix with renal disease. I started my cat on 2 other rental diets from different companies. One made him vomit and one he ate for several months but, as with all renal cats, his appetite waxes and wanes and he wasn't interested in it anymore. I ordered a starter kit as well as a larger bag of renal A. He loves it! He also loved the other flavors. Royal Canin has created several varieties of the same foods because that's what our kidney cats need! I couldn't be more happy with them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My vet prescribed this for my older kitty with a number of chronic health issues, including early kidney disease. Since being on this food, his kidney function levels have improved, he's gained weight, and is back to behaving like his normal self. The second younger kitty is also eating Royal Canin Renal support, as a preventive measure. We're very happy with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rescued my cat 2 years ago. I took him the veteran and found he had FIV and Kidney failure. He has been on renal support A and S. He is 17 years old and he is my emotional support animal. Everyone that meets him can’t believe he sick at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a CKD cat can be tough, they love food one day and the next they turn up their nose. We keep Renal Support A as our back up food, our cat acts like he's getting a bowl of treats every time we give it to him!
Try the variety pack before committing to buying a bag or a case of food. It's a great way to introduce all the different kinds RC has to offer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 very different cats; the younger one has kidney issues but my vet said this would benefit my 13 yr old as well. The boys love it, no issues going from R/C #33 & Indoor Mature (mixed) to the renal diet. I buy "A", "F" & "S" in the small bags and mix 2 flavors together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and a smaller kidney. I had to switch him to this diet and was amazed at how Royal Canin had different options for smells and textures for cats as they get taste aversion with chronic kidney disease. I started on the E renal diet and switched to this one as he seemed to want to eat different diet. Basically after switching to this diet his BUN and Creatinine values went back to normal and I feel like I have.extra years with my kitty and I don’t have to worry with this diet.

I tried other kidney diets and he wouldn’t eat them, but he immediately liked the Royal Canin and has been eating it well for the whole year! Even more importantly his blood work improved, he felt noticeably better and gained weight. We’re all thrilled with the results- a healthier cat who enjoys his food.
