Helps dissolve and prevent pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

Lowers the risk of crystal and stone formation using RSS methodology for bladder health

Highly palatable hydrolyzed proteins help to reduce skin and GI reactions that may be a result of food sensitivities to common proteins found in pet food

Supports healthy digestion and reinforces the skin barrier with nutrients to support and maintain healthy skin

Whether this is your dog’s first urinary issue or he has developed food sensitivities and needs ongoing urinary care, your vet recommended Royal Canin Urinary SO + Hydrolyzed Protein for a reason. This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It’s designed with Relative SuperSaturation (RSS) methodology to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. It also features highly digestible hydrolyzed protein, which helps reduce the risk of stomach and skin signs in dogs with food sensitivities. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food with Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Treats for long-term urinary tract support.

wonderful multiple features

I bought this product about a year ago using Royal Canin canine SO food for a couple of years. My dog had developed allergies and this product is a wonderful alternative for a dog with multiple medical problems. She had urinary and allergy problems that you have combined a food to help with both. She likes the food and the palatability is great. Great job.

Outrageously expensive but worth every penny

I nearly lost my miniature schnauzer to urinary blockage, and my vet put him on this product. He loves it, and I even give him pieces as treats.

Great for skin & crystals in urine

My dog needed to go on the S/O diet due to crystals in her urine. After several years , the crystals were gone , but her weight & coat started to decline. We switched over to the urinary + HP and within months, she gained her weight back , and her skin looks great. As I am a vet tech , this is one of my first go to foods now for my clients that have pets exhibiting the same symptoms my dog did. I'm very happy to have found this food !

Everything I ever needed in a dog food!

We recently discovered our French bulldog Bane not only had allergies but also had crystals in his urine. We've been on this food for a little over 1 month and his most recent labwork found no crystals! Beyond happy with this multifunction food by Royal Canin!

Does The Trick

We have used this food for a while and it "does the trick" in terms of our dog's ability to digest this food.

The BEST Hypoallergenic food that helped my dog!

I worked for a vet and our dog was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which is normally caused by a food allergy. We tried another prescription diet and while she no longer vomited, she was still losing weight like crazy. After lots of research, Royal Canin Hypo HP was recommended. She's been on this food for over 5 years now with minimal flare-ups, healthy coat, and maintained a perfect weight. HIGHLY recommend!

Truly Multifunctional

My veterinarian recommended this dog food for my Papillion who experiences, or should I say was experiencing, bladder stones which are very painful and troublesome. The vet visits and antibiotics are costly as well. After beginning this diet, she has experienced no bladder stones in the last six months. I obviously understand that at some point she will probably experience them again, but I appreciate that this food has lived up to its purpose in maintaining her health.

My dog suffered from bladder stones. Thank God and your food that she has not had an incident since her major surgery 3 years ago! We also feed the canned version. I must say that she still eats both of these specialized foods readily without any added treats to make them more palatable! That's a plus with any food out of the norm. Thank u snd keep up the good work!
