Helps dissolve and prevent pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

Lowers the risk of crystal and stone formation using RSS methodology for bladder health

Highly palatable hydrolyzed proteins help to reduce skin and GI reactions that may be a result of food sensitivities to common proteins found in pet food

Supports healthy digestion and reinforces the skin barrier with nutrients to support and maintain healthy skin

Whether this is your dog’s first urinary issue or he has developed food sensitivities and needs ongoing urinary care, your vet recommended Royal Canin Urinary SO + Hydrolyzed Protein for a reason. This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It’s designed with Relative SuperSaturation (RSS) methodology to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. It also features highly digestible hydrolyzed protein, which helps reduce the risk of stomach and skin signs in dogs with food sensitivities. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food with Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Treats for long-term urinary tract support.

Supports Health

My vet advised us on this product to support the health of my dog, as she has allergies and kidney issues. It is helping to keep her in good health!

Love the multi-function

I am a RVT with a white Pittie who has a hx of atopy and crystaluria. This has immensely helped us manage her conditions. My only dislike is the smell of the kibble!

Perfect for our little guy

We’ve used the HP food for a few years & then switched to this one after our precious pooch had bladder stones. He loves royal canin food. We fed him canned Royal canin food after surgery & he loved that too! This food is actually cheaper than normal pet store food when you price it per day. Ive recommended it to several friends and family. Compared to other foods i love the smell of this stuff, no weird meaty fishy smell. When we visit friends, his “girlfriend” tries to gobble up his food instead of her own, so everyone loves it. Diego gives it 2 paws up!

Helpful food

My dog has major food allergies and started on the HP a few years ago. He started to produce urinary stones and had a cystotomy so my vet researched and found this food and I immediately changed him. He is still building urinary crystals and stones but at a slower pace. I have tried to cycle him back to just SO but his allergies get really bad. For pet parents who are in a similar situation as i was, this food is a gift from god. My only complaint is it is hard to get in the Florida Keys. I wish that sites like foster and smith, pet meds or any other rx sources would also sell this multifunction. i

Great food, great results!

This food has really helped my dog. The thing I don’t understand is that any dog who is on this food, most likly can only eat this food but it is so very hard to get it! My vet as is all websites that carry it, is always out of stock and they cannot order it. This is all my dog is allowed to have due to her medical issues and it is an ongoing worry about getting her food.

Makes my dog extremely thirsty

My vet recommended this to prevent recurrence of bladder stones and diarrhea in my miniature schnauzer. He likes the food but it makes him extremely thirsty. I am mot sure if this is what it is supposed to do, but he was not this thirsty on the SO diet.

Another great thing about Royal Canin if you call them they are there to answer your questions. Thank-You Again!

wonderful multiple features

I bought this product about a year ago using Royal Canin canine SO food for a couple of years. My dog had developed allergies and this product is a wonderful alternative for a dog with multiple medical problems. She had urinary and allergy problems that you have combined a food to help with both. She likes the food and the palatability is great. Great job.

Outrageously expensive but worth every penny

I nearly lost my miniature schnauzer to urinary blockage, and my vet put him on this product. He loves it, and I even give him pieces as treats.
