HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for dog bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your dog has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet.

With nearly 50 years of scientific research and observation, Royal Canin continues to deliver targeted nutrition to feed every pet’s magnificence. Not satisfied? Then neither are we. Our veterinary exclusive formulas are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. (Just contact us for more details.)

great product

We used this product after our dogs after her bladder surgery. When we had out 6 month follow up there were no stones. The vet was very surprised so I guess the dog food and drinking more water did the trick.

Dog Loves It and Now Treats Too!

We have been using this product for about 6 years now along with the wet canned food in both the loaf and the moderate calorie (which is morsels in gravy and my dog seems to like this better). My dog was suffering from struvite crystals in her bladder and since switching to this products we have not had any reoccurrences. My dog was happy they have also recently released Urinary SO treats.

Helps my dog

After my dog was diagnosed with 23 kidney stones and after having them removed. Our vet sent them to the Royal Caine labs in Canada to have them tested to see why she had so many. And when the report came back it also recommended we use this product. His was over a year ago and our old pup is still doing great with no stones returning.

No more UTI's after moving to this dog food!

I have had my mini dachshund on this Royal Canin version since she was a year old - after having many UTI's in her first year of life. She is 7yrs old now and not only does it help her urinary health, but we noticed a reduction in the amount and odor of her waste.

Been a great prescription food for my pup!

My dog, a 11 yr old Bischon, has been on Urinary SO for almost 10 years. She has bladder stones/surgery at 2. This food has helped keep her healthy and not have to go thru anymore surgeries.

Life saver - literally!

Our senior Pug was diagnosed with bladder stones in August 2015. Luckily we were able to dissolve them with food alone. Ever since her clear checkup, we have fed her Urinary SO dry dog food and we have had no issues! You can easily get it from PetSmart if you have a vet prescription. It's expensive but if you weigh the costs between food and surgery, food always wins.
