HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract dog food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for dog bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your dog has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry dog food was developed to nutritionally support your adult dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet dog food and treats to complement your dog’s diet.

With nearly 50 years of scientific research and observation, Royal Canin continues to deliver targeted nutrition to feed every pet’s magnificence. Not satisfied? Then neither are we. Our veterinary exclusive formulas are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. (Just contact us for more details.)

Great dog food

We had to put our dog on this formula due to urinary tract issues. It has made a huge difference. It’s a bit more expensive than we would like to spend but saves on vet bills so it’s worth it.

Saved my two dogs from additional surgeries!

Both of my dogs have had bladder stones. The female had one surgery, my older male, two! The Urinary SO has been a God-send. No more bladder stones! Thank you.

Amazing corrective diet.

7 years ago my Corgi had bladder stones removed. Since then he has been on strictly the Urinary SO diet. The diet has helped to keep the few stones that he has at bay. They haven't grown is size or changed in 7 years. I also use the wet food on occasion and bake into squares as an added treat.

Works for some UTIs

My female dachshund had severe UTIs with bleeding and was diagnosed with struvite bladder stones. The vet recommended this Urinary SO food plus one course of antibiotics. She's now been on this food for over a year and has not had one UTI. It works and she loves the taste too. I occasionally give her the Moderate calorie version, which is more gravy-like, to mix it up, but usually just the regular one because she's thin.

Works - but pricey

This dog food seems to be working so far and my dog enjoys it. However the price seems to go up $10 every 3 months which seems far to often and frequent. I'm paying $40 more for the same bag that I started ordering just a little over a year ago. :(
