I prefer this to ALL other dog foods. Its a bit pricey, but buy it when I am able . It is so good for my 3 Dachshund's :)

My veterinarian recommended this food. All my dogs eaten Royal Canin for over 15 years. My dogs have had long, healthy lives. I have never heard of a recall of Royal Canin, while it seems that other brands have recalls every month.

We have a super finicky, 5 year old, female, miniature dachshund. She will eat our cat’s food in a tail wag (which isn’t good for her). I’m glad we found Royal Canin. It’s the only dry dog food she’ll eat.

Just the right size pieces and it's full of nutrition specific for my dachshund. My only complaint is that I wish the zipper bag was easier to close. I've removed one star because of this problem. At $40 per bag, this should not be an issue--- please Royal Canin-- fix the zipper flaw!
