I started feeding my dachshund puppy Royal Canin 12 years ago. Every dachshund that I have eats Royal Canin. Before Royal Canin started making canned dog food, I gave my dogs some Science Diet canned with the Royal Canin dry. When they tasted the Royal Canin canned, they loved it. The next time I fed them the Science Diet they refused to eat until I fed them all Royal Canin. My vet also agrees with me about feeding my dogs Royal Canin.

My sister turned our family onto Royal Canin dog food after visiting for Christmas. First off, she explained that is locally manufactured (in the US) to my hometown and secondly it has improved the health of her dog tenfold. My dog actually started eating the food over the holidays and within just a few days we could see that her energy was up, itchy skin was diminishing and her breath smelled so much better. As soon as we got home back to NC, we went out and found the Dachshund version of the food. She and our entire family have enjoyed the benefits of it ever since. In just 6 weeks our dog had a healthy undercoat growing in that she had not had in many years. We are loyal Royal Canin customers!

My dachshund has been eating Royal Canin for 8 years. She loves it & I love that it's helped her to maintain a steady weight; helps keep tarter build up to a minimum; her coat is shines & she is full of energy. I was lured by a coupon to try Blue Buffalo...my girl wouldn't eat it. So I went right back to Royal Canin Adult Dachshund dry food & am sticking with a great food!

we love that our Cygnus loves Royal Canin breed specific. it's healthy and strengthening to his short Dachshund legs especially! Cygnus loves to do the "hungry dance" for his helping of Royal Canin! Royal Canin is simply the best!

I have been using the dachshund breed Royal Canin food for 6 years now and am so glad I have been. I love how there is food nutritionally tailored for my exact breed of dog. It has kept her happy and healthy for the past 6 years! Dachshunds are notorious for back problems and I love how there are ingredients in the food that help combat that issue. My vet even said her joints seem very healthy. We love Royal Canin!

This food is breed specific and the pieces are small and crunchy. I have tried other quality brands but to no avail. It would be great to get some Royal Canin coupons to offset the high cost. My dog Charlie has been doing well and is healthy and happy with his Dachshund Teckel.
