The boys were very happy to try a new food. They devoured Royal Canin’s Dachshund mix. I was happy to see a food made for their special needs. Joint health one in particular as they have such short legs. Huey is often sensitive to foods and this is the case today. His legs are swollen and sensitive, we will stop the new food. The other pup is feeling fine and will happily enjoy the rest of the bag. We will introduce any new foods slowly to our boys as should always be done especially with known food sensitivities.

My daschund is a picky eater since he was a puppy. It is hard to find a food that he really likes. I'm happy to had the opportunity to try out Royal Canine Daschund food. It provides joint and bone support with calcium and phosphorus to help supportlimbs and a long backbone.muscle tone with precise protein content and L-carnitine. It also reduces stool volume and odor with highly digestible proteins and precise fiber content. I really like giving him a breed-specific diet that is formulated with the specific nutrients to help him thrive.
I will buy this food and will recommend it to my doxie parents friends.

I received a bag of Adult dachshund teckel dog food from Royal Canin and RippleStreet in exchange for my honest review. It came well packed and is in a resealable bag.
This dog food is specifically tailored for dachshunds nutrition needs. It claims to support their joints and bones, muscle tones, and stool odor reduction.
The kibble shape was developed to match with the small jaw of dachshunds. This is great for dachshund Dogs over 10months old. There is also a feeding instructions at the back of the bag, based on the weight of your dog.
Our Bacon Longbottom loves this food. It’s like a treat for him and he’s always excited whenever he hears his food dispenser. He’s now transitioned to Royal Canin and I haven’t noticed any upset stomach issue or any side effects since he had this. My dog’s happy and so we are.

I really enjoyed trying this dog food for my 3 dachshunds. I have always heard great things about this food from breeders and vets, but I wasn’t sure on the ingredients. We have tried a lot of other brands (including fresh), and this food is the only one that all of my dachshunds love. I like that the kibble size is specialized for a dachshunds mouth. My older Doxie is 13 years old, and has had teeth extractions etc. and this food made it easier for her to chew. The kibble size is nice and small. It has a nice smell to the kibble, a fresh kibble scent. I love how the bag is easy to close, thus making the food easier to store. Lastly my younger doxie has had allergies to other foods (getting bumps on her belly), and this food after a few weeks cleared the bumps up. Now she is still allergic to grass, so in the summer it flares up. But with this food it has become more manageable. My vet actually wasn’t surprised that a switch to RC helped my dog. Overall I would purchase this food again, and I would recommend it to other dachshund owners.

So for all the pups that are very picky (and I know most are), my picky pup Pretzel enjoys this food and I'm super happy she is eating it and seems to be enjoying it.
I love the size of the kibble, small enough for her size (13 lbs); I would absolutely purchase this again and highly recommend as it seems to be agreeing with her. I love that there is a product specifically designed for Dachshunds, thank you!

They tried for the first time their Royal canin breed health nutrition dachshund adult dry food, and they just loved it, I couldn't keep them away, and they kept asking for more. I can totally tell that this food is made different from the others, better quality, and the right ingredients for my kind of dog. The kibble looks totally different from the others.I totally recommend it. I will be getting more of it for my Dachhunds.

Scooter really likes this food as soon as we put it down he went to town on it. We like how it is vet recommended. The only thing we don't like is the price. It seems very pricey.

I’m so glad I was able to try this food. My dog has been eating taste of the wild for years and he absolutely loved this food over his old stuff. It was easy for him to eat and I will be buying another bag when this is gone.
