HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

Almost works for my Cat

My cat is prone to urinary tract infections (as many as four in one year). Our Vet started her on this Feline Urinary SO almost two years ago and we opted for the Moderate calorie to help with weight control. She has not gained weight in the two years but she has had urinary tract infections. Only one per year but I would much rather it was zero as it is so hard on her. I would recommend this food but wonder if a grain free option would be even better.

My fussy eater loves this food

A month ago my chubby male cat was diagnosed with crystals. He is a very fussy eater, and when I heard he would be on special veterinary food I expected he might starve to death. Then I was told it came in a low calorie version, which would be ideal for him. I left with the bag, wondering how long I would wait before asking what our next plan was. No need to worry - he loves it! So much that he ripped open a new bag even though his bowl was full. He has not had a repeat x-ray, but I can tell he his feeling good. I am so happy he loves his prescription food.

Helped save my cat!

We almost lost our cat due to urinary crystals that were caused by another well known common brand of cat food. His urinary tract became clogged and he was basically poisoning himself. Our vet put us on the Royal Canin Feline Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie dry cat food to (1) help eliminate the crystals and (2) to help him lose some weight (he is a big kitty). We've been using it since about 2012/2013 and have been very pleased. Our cat has not only lost some weight, but has not had any crystals detected in any of her exams since. Thank you Royal Canin!

It works!

I have a male cat who has been on the Urinary S/O for two years at the recommendation of his veterinarian. The urinary problem is no longer a problem. This food has allowed him to stay problem free, and that makes me a happy owner. I would not consider switching his food!
