HELPS PREVENT STONES: Specialized adult cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT: Low calorie cat food (10% less calories than Royal Canin Urinary SO Dry Cat Food) for ideal weight maintenance

BLADDER HEALTH: RSS methodology for cat bladder health helps lower the risk of crystal formation

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to help support urinary health

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content (10% less than Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food) helps them maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

Problem solved!

My kitty was born with a laundry list of physical issues including urinary tract problems. My vet strongly suggested an exclusive diet of Royal Canin Feline Urinary SO. We tried the canned and dry varieties. My boy definitely prefers the crunchies!

Our cats love it!

For some reason our older cat was urinating all over the house and acting as though she were in heat. Two vets told us she needed to be operated on to search for cysts that might be causing elevated levels of estrogen (she is spayed). After we agreed to the surgery and the long and painful recovery, the symptoms returned. We tried a new vet who recommended Royal Canin Urinary Control. Within a week, all of her symptoms stopped and, after a year and half, she is in good health and our house is back to normal. We never did find the cause of her issues but our new vet suspects she had high pH levels in her urine which caused crystals to form, causing her pain and discomfort.

Best food

Our cat has been on this for over a year, we went off for a few weeks and ended up having to have bladder surgery for stones. Will use this food the rest of her life! It helps keep her healthy and worth the price

Urinary so

I initially bought this for my one cat with urinary issues. It has worked wonders. I have 7 cats and they all love it. Pretty expensive to feedvitvto 7 cats but they get it as a treat.

Cat's Meow

Have had many pets over time that were put on prescription diets. This is the FIRST time that a cat has actually liked the diet more than the food it replaced!

Pleasant Smelling Highly Palatable Cat Food

I have an almost 13 year old Himalayan and a 9 year old Himalayan that have both been on the Feline Urinary SO diet since they were kittens. I have a 6 year old Persian as well, so far he's been healthy. It's funny how my cats love their dry food and even the one that doesn't need the Urinary SO prefers it over his dry cat food. Thank you for keeping my kitties healthy and making a food that smells good even to the humans in the house and making something that makes them happy. I've found most "special dietary foods" are not that palatable and it's hard getting them to eat it. They love Royal Canin Urinary SO and I couldn't be happier!
