HELPS DISSOLVE STONES: Innovative urinary tract cat food helps dissolve pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones

BLADDER HEALTH: Lowers the risk of crystal formation using RSS methodology for cat bladder health

S/O INDEX: The exclusive S/O Index creates an environment unfavorable to crystal formation in the bladder to support urinary health

HELPS PREVENT STONE REOCCURANCE: Specialized diet, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps prevent struvite stones from reoccurring

When your cat has urinary issues, easing their discomfort requires special care. But with the help of your veterinarian and Royal Canin, there’s not just hope—there can be a true difference.

This veterinary-exclusive dry cat food was developed to nutritionally support your adult cat’s urinary tract and bladder health. It increases the amount of urine your cat produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. And this specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, helps dissolve pure struvite stones and prevent struvite stones from forming. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some cats. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your cat on this urinary cat food for long-term urinary support. And ask them about the right Royal Canin wet cat food and treats to complement your cat’s diet.

Great food, but should not require a prescription

Cat is in excellent health on this diet but ridiculous that it requires a prescription.

I'm sold on this food!

My vet prescribed this food for my 14 year old male who frequently get partial blockages. He has only been on this food for about a month but man, does he love it. I noticed, right away that he was quickly getting rid of the remaining sludge in his bladder. He pees in large healthy quantities now. Thank you Royal Canin!

Product changed...my cat won't eat it

Just like "Plentyofcats" review...we were fine on Urinary S/O until the new version came out. The larger kibble size is a problem for our cat, who has dental issues. Now we're looking for another brand alternative.

NOT EATING

I've used Feline Urinary SO for years but now my cats won't eat it. I'm guessing it is because the size of the kibble has gotten bigger. Why the change in size?

Great food

I bought this after my Persian was diagnosed with urinary crystals. It is wonderful. No more problems with crystals and no more expensive trips to the vet. I was worried my finicky babies would not eat it, but no problem. They love it.

Healthy/Happy Kitty

As my kitty has gotten older, she has started to get urinary tract infections. Ever since she has been on this formula, there have been zero infections :) We’ve been using the product 3-4 years.

Great Product!!!

My cat has been on this for 7 years. Prior to this he was constantly “blocked” and unable to urinate. The vet prescribed this and he has had no problems since. He is now 13 years old! This is a GREAT product! Thanks Royal Canin from Sadie Boy and his human

You saved my cats life!!

We got our kitten when she was homeless in Rocky Point, Mexico. She was so cute and tiny, with a tiny bob tail. We decided to name her "Twilight" as that was when the Stephenie Meyer books were really popular. But as she grew up, we kept calling her "Baby" So that's the name that stuck. She "really" grew up, to a BIG Baby. Noted her to be a snowshoe bobtail. She developed crystals in her bladder, got pretty sick. At veterinarian office after treatment, she was put on Royal Canin Urinary SO dry cat food. Never a crystal since. She's a big girl with a tiny short tail that says "does my tail make my butt look big??" Haha, Well...... you look at her photos and decide. Thanks for reading this. Love my big Baby girl.

Cats love it!

Cat's urinary track problems are now a distant memory. Our cats love the SO and are very healthy because their diet consists of SO and nothing else.
