Our cat had to have a tooth pulled and refused to eat his previous brand of food after surgery so we had to switch. After trying dozens of other brands and canned food we went with Royal Canin Main Coon and hes a big fan! Also noticed that his coat is so much shinier and soft since switching over!

I think it is great to have a breed specific food but after doing my study I have found that corn, wheat gluten psyllium seed husk rosemary extract all have negative effects dispite what your customer service and nutritional fplks say. SO I am on the hunt again for the ideal food for my Maine Coons.

I am a veterinarian and also a breeder of Maine coon cats and oriental shorthairs and siamese.......we purchased the Royal Canin Maine coon diet for our big cats but the osh and siamese love it so much that they will kick the coons out of their bowls and happily crunch away!!!!

I have had my maine coon Emeriss on this diet for over a year now and he loves it! He always gets so excited come dinner time. I always get complements on how soft and shiny his coat is and has definitely decreased how many hairballs he has. The kibbles have definitely helped keep his teeth in top shape and it is nice in that it helps slow him down so he doesn't eat to fast. Weight wise he has been great with the recommended food portions and he always seem content and full. I love the new design for the bag as well with the Ziploc top! Definitely helps keep his food fresher longer. Overall amazing product and look forward to many more years of use!
