PLAYFUL ENERGY: Made with the optimal ratio of protein, fats, and carbohydrates to meet the nutritional needs of a maturing kitten’s playful energy

IMMUNE SUPPORT: An innovative blend of antioxidants helps with immune system health and promotes their natural defenses as kittens continue to grow

HEALTHY DIGESTION: Digestible proteins, fiber, and prebiotics promote healthy digestion

TASTY SLICES IN GRAVY: Tender soft cat food is easy for a kitten to eat as they transition to solid foods; a perfect complement to Royal Canin Kitten Dry Food

By the time a young kitten gets to be around 4 months old, their growth rate slows, but their activity levels skyrocket. With a developing immune system, growing bones and muscles, emerging adult teeth, and that skyrocketing energy level, older kittens need nutrition with more protein than a younger baby cat.

While it may seem like your kitten’s nutritional needs are complicated, Royal Canin Thin Slices in Gravy makes it simple to feed their magnificence from the start. This wet kitten food is specifically designed to support a kitten’s developing immune system, growing bones and muscles, and high levels of playful energy. Its precise ratio of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates matches the instinctively preferred macronutrient profile of your energetic kitten, ensuring long-term palatability. With easy-to-chew, tiny thin slices in gravy for a texture kittens adore, it’s the perfect complement to Royal Canin Kitten dry food as your kitten transitions into a more grown-up diet of solids.

Recent Product Change Ruined It

I do think that THIS can/label in particular is great however there has been a recent “update” to the label and it seems the product formula as well. My 10 month old Ragdoll kitten has been eating Royal canin kitten food as long as he has been able to eat wet food. He loves it. BUT we got some of the newly packaged cans (about 2-12pks worth) with “stage 3” on the label. Kitten REFUSED to eat any of the new cans. I’m not sure if it was a batch issue but he literally gagged when he smelled the new formula…very frustrating when it’s $50 worth of food that he just will not eat. Luckily we found some of the old formula cans locally but still.

Thank you for such a good product!

Kitten Thin Slices in Gravy Cans are the best canned food. My kitten loves it and only this one. I'm cooking my food for my kitten with very good reach ingredients but I have to mix it with couple spoons of Thin Slices in Gravy to make her eat it. Thank you for such a good product!

The Favorite of Six Kitties!

My kittos developed a bit of a fine taste for food, both dry kibble and wet cans. They quickly decided they DO NOT like the loaf, mushed kind and will literally let it dry out on their dish rather than eat it. These thin slices form perfect chunks that they absolutely love! The cans are a bit pricey compared to other kitten foods on the market, but I believe you're paying the premium for higher quality ingredients and a more nutritionally complete diet. I think I'm on my 6th case and counting! In addition to these cans, I also feed them the Royal Canin Mother Cat & Baby Cat kibble, until they're 3 months old, then switch them to the Kitten dry food until around 10-12mo, at which point, they're big enough to start eating adult formulas!

My Kittens LOVE Royal Canin

I've had two kittens for about 6 weeks now and am learning the trials & tribulations of kittenhood. They don't really care what type of dry food I give them; they generally eat it at night.. But I've been looking for the perfect wet food since I brought them home. Today I discovered Royal Canin and =wow= I have never seen them plow through their bowls with such delight! I bought a 12-pack of the "thin slices in gravy". They love it, and I love what I've read about it! Tomorrow, I'm heading back to the store for the same brand in the dry as well!

lack of sauce in canned food labeled with sauce

I have sampled 3 different lots of 3 oz canned kitten food ,loaf in sauce and none of them had any sauce. I have to add water to make the food palatable for my kitten and it barely works. The 5.8 oz cans ,however, do contain sauce. I have complained about the product to the company and suggested the lack of quality control, but get no response from them. They actually sent me a free case but it also had no sauce. The satiety support loaf in sauce actually has sauce in it.

Excellent nutrition for kittens

We have been fostering kittens for our local animal shelter for the last 5 years. We love your kitten products because these kittens are feral and usually sick and underweight when they arrive. Royal Canin kitten products have helped us send all the of the kittens that have been in our care on to their forever homes in good health.
