VITALITY SUPPORT: A precise balance of vitamins and minerals tailored to mature cats supports healthy aging

KIDNEY HEALTH: Adapted phosphorus levels help support renal health

SPECIALIZED KIBBLE: Soft kibble easily breaks down in the cat’s mouth to help protect gums and teeth

OPTIMAL STOOL: Highly digestible proteins help older cats digest nutrients and promote optimal stool quality

Mature cats face a unique set of health challenges. Fewer playtime sessions can mean lower muscle mass. An older cat may have difficulty eating due to dental problems or a declining sense of smell and taste. And with a long life full of napping, grazing, and grooming, mature cats often have higher-than-healthy body weights and foul-smelling stool odor. What your cat eats can make all the difference.

Royal Canin Indoor 7+ dry cat food is formulated with key nutrients needed for your cat's (7 years and older) relaxed lifestyle: A vitality complex of added vitamin C, EPA, and DHA for staying active and strong. Adapted phosphorus levels to help support renal health. Highly digestible proteins for digestive health and to help reduce litter box odors. Softer, square kibble texture for easy chewing. For variety, complement this dry kibble with our Royal Canin Intense Beauty wet cat food.

royal canin for the win

i got a good deal on royal canin at my local petsmart and i'm so glad i did. some of y cats can be picky eaters and tend to throw up their food but not with the royal canin. They keep the food down and can't get enough.

Very disappointing.

My 10 year old cat has eaten the Indoor 27 since we got her, and she's never had a sick day. The "new" Indoor 7+ is not the same, and she throws it up consistently, then cries because she's hungry. What prompted you to change it? You have lost a customer.

Great Mature Adult Cat Food

Before we bought this food our two 14 year old cats vomited/regurgitated almost daily on the other senior food which we fed them. Our cats have had many teeth removed due to resorptive lesions. As soon as our cats tried this food, their vomiting/regurgitation decreased to about once a week. They preferred to eat this food over the other food, also. They digest it well, and their stools are normal. This food has a moderate calorie content, which works well for their sedentary life style. We have been feeding Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Indoor 7+ for about a year now. We are really pleased with it.

Has cheap filler

Brewers Rice : Low-quality by-product of the milling process that is used as a filler. Rice may deplete the amount of taurine in the cat’s body which can lead to deficiency.

My cat is sick with the "new" formula

Apparently, it replaces the old "indoor mature 27". But it's absolutely NOT the same. My cat vomits after each meals and after a week he is now really sick. Terrible.

They changed the formula!!

I have been feeding my 14yr old Indoor Mature 27 for years and my cat loves it. After being forced to buy Indoor 7+ my cat has developed a skin allergy to it, bumps and hair loss on her hind quaters. Royal Canin has changed the formula. Now i must search for a new brand that has chicken as the first ingredient, like Royal Cabin USED to have.

Very Disappointed in the "new" Mature 27

I've been feed Mature 27 to my 14+ year old Tortie for a while after going through numerous other senior foods that caused her to have diarrhea and lose a substantial amount of weight. It stopped the diarrhea and put weight back on her and put a little bit of life back in her. I should note that after close to $1,000 in vet bills, she has no underlying health issues, she's just an old kitty. This past weekend I traveled to 4 PetSmarts trying to find Mature 27 and it wasn't until the 4th PetSmart that I see a sticker on Indoor 7+ telling me of the "new name" and that the product still had the same recipe as Mature 27. Hesitantly I purchased it and am now back to dealing with my senior kitty having diarrhea. You've changed something in the content of the food. The kernels are a different size and different color and, her diarrhea is back. I'm frantic because now I don't know what to feed her and now must go through numerous foods to find out what does and doesn't work.
