Our poor Shiba Inu was just a puppy when he started having chronic diarrhea. We thought it could be contaminated water from dog parks that was making him sick. Multiple fecal tests and a couple hundred dollars later, we brought him in to the vet after he started chewing his paw pads raw. When the doctor prescribed him Hydrolyzed Protein for food allergies we noticed a dramatic change in our dog. He stopped having diarrhea, chewing on his feet, and his coat thickened to the beautiful Shiba coat he is supposed to have. Overall, he is a completely different dog thanks to this diet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog has been on Royal Canin for years now. We were going to a different vet initially and our dog was refusing to eat his food after being a voracious eater. We were struggling to find a food that he liked, and he needed a special food that was appropriate for his sensitive stomach. My daughter went on line and found Royal Canin and asked the vet to order it in for him, if it would be an appropriate food, which they did, but the variety of RC did not originally solve his problem. In frustration, we changed vets. Our current vet put him on the RC HP and immediately he began to eat and was our happy dog again.
After two bouts with cancer and now on thyroid, he has been walking less, so over time, he has become heavy. The vet suggested this product, the HP Moderate Calorie. Our dog loves it, and he has slowly, and without any problems with hunger, lost weight. He has a waistline again and looks great. Not too heavy and certainly not too thin, just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We spent 18 months trying to figure out what was wrong with my black lab and cure his intestinal issues. A friend of mine recommended Royal Canin, I told my vet about it, she contacted your people and they recommended this particular food and we put him on it. My lab's issues cleared up almost immediately. It was like a miracle. 3 vets, several internists and thousands of dollars later, your food cured my lab. It is now the only food/treats we give him and we're on automatic delivery. And it is now the "go to" food recommendation of my vet when she sees dogs with a similar issue. Thank you for curing my Baxter!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs Max and Ruby have been eating this particular Royal Canin formula for the past four year and are doing great on it. They have alllergies to chicken and probably many other allergies and this food really helps with the itching, wheezing and scratching that can happen on other foods. I like the convenience of having it delivered every month and my dogs will eat it, so it's win-win!
