Our 17 year old geriactric cat with kidney failure likes this food. But like others have stated, she will only eat the first serving of a new can and the rest of the saved servings can be iffy for her to eat. Need 3 oz cans.

Cat loves the first meal out of this and then not so much. He will just go on to the buffet and eat whatever he can find in another's bowl, and his goes into the trash. It's expensive, and it's a waste. Looking into alternatives.

I’d like to echo what Blackies Mom said. This is the only prescription food my 6-lb kitty with failing kidneys will eat. But I wind up throwing out so much of it because the cans last her for days and she won’t eat it when it’s open that long. That gets too expensive for us. Please add 3 oz cans!

...he won't eat leftovers no matter how I prepare it for him. So, the 5.8oz can provides 4 portions and he will only eat the first (freshly-opened can) portion and that makes it an expensive waste of money that I cannot afford.

Vet was happily surpised to see my cat doing so well considering his condition, and very happy with his renal pannel values.
This food works and bonus; my cat loves it !

I buy this food every month for my 18 year old Siamese Cat and he loves it and it's keeping his kidneys from failing. Plus, my other cat loves to eat it and my dog wants to eat it too. I have to chase them away from it.
