16 déc. 2021I miss the old formula
The old formula, larger cans were so much better. I syringe feed this food (5 years) and have to strain out black, sharp bits that were never present in the old formula. It's also frequently out of stock, and I have to scrounge to find enough to feed my cat. I'm buying more and paying more for a product I'm not as happy with. I tried switching to Hills, but was even less impressed with them.

My 16 yr old cat was recently diagnosed with early kidney failure. We tried the competitors kidney food, and she would rather starve than eat it. Bought the Royal Canin Renal E, and she absolutely loves it and is doing so well now. But, I just learned from our vet that the E is being discontinued - is this true? She doesn't like the morsels as well (D and T).

My cat is very picky about his food, and with urinary issues he gets tired of the SO canned food. I ordered the E kidney support and he loves it! I’m hoping he will begin to put on weight now. For any cats who don’t like the SO morsels - I put 1 can of the morsels and 1 can of the loaf in the blender, and my cat likes that consistency better than the chunky morsels.

Just starting my 14 yr old tuxedo munchkin on this due to Kidney failure (how upsetting).
He will not eat left-overs from this pate so please offer a smaller can to limit waste of a very expensive product. I hope this special food helps him live more quality years - I can't bear the loss of my best friend!

Not crazy about D says morsels but it’s a little flat pieces doesn’t eat your dry. That said try a different flavor wet I see you have T which says flat pieces which is what D looks like. E- loaf might work better. Is this in your sample pack? I have not tried E

My cat was recently diagnosed with renal disease. I was SO relieved and happy that she loves this food! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish you offered the E formula pate in a smaller can like the others

My cat only likes fish canned food and therefore won't eat this. I am trying to mix it in with other wet food, but so far he isn't buying it. Is there a fish based food available someplace?

My cat is 18 and he is a tuna/fish food type cat. He does not go for the chicken, turkey stuff. Took less than 3 seconds for him to turn his nose up at this. Since I had to buy a whole case, I'm out a lot of money, since vets only carry a small sampling of vet diet food it is hard to get samples to find out whether or not your cat will likes a particular "special food".

My almost 19 year old cat got diagnosed with thyroid and kidney issues about 8-9 months ago. He’s always been a bigger cat and loved to eat. He got down to 8 pounds at his lowest. But with the help of his renal diet (E & S) and his fluids, he’s a changed cat. He’s starting to gain weight again and still living his best life.

he turns his nose up at this food. He is kind of a picky guy and used to raw food, but usually he will get used to any canned wet food too. He's been protesting this so hard though that he's lost significant weight. I had to buy a whole case of it, what a waste.
