The Labrador Retriever is a breed that tends to eat quickly without chewing its food. The cylinder shaped kibble of the LABRADOR RETRIEVER ADULT formula helps to slow the rate of ingestion and encourage the Labrador to chew his food.

His northern ancestors needed plenty of calories before diving into the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Labrador Retriever has inherited his legendary appetite from them. As a result, he needs a carefully controlled diet to avoid becoming overweight. This exclusive formula helps maintain the adult Labrador Retriever’s ideal weight with an appropriate calorie content.

As a determined athlete, the Labrador Retriever gives his all. His solid body, strong bones and his natural predisposition to gain weight are among the factors which can put stress on his joints. The LABRADOR RETRIEVER ADULT formula helps support healthy bones and joints by including glucosamine and chondroitin and helps maintain ideal weight. Enriched with EPA and DHA.

Dense, short hair with a thick undercoat provides Labrador Retrievers with an insulating, water resistant coat. Nutrition plays a vital role in skin and coat maintenance. The LABRADOR RETRIEVER ADULT formula helps support the skin’s role as a barrier with an exclusive complex of nutrients and helps maintain skin and coat health (EPA and DHA).

100% Complete and Balanced Nutrition

Labrador Retrievers are well-known for their enthusiasm and intelligence. With targeted nutrients, LABRADOR RETRIEVER ADULT helps to promote an ideal body condition and support joints, while the tailored kibble helps encourage chewing and satisfy appetite.

Our two labs cannot get enough of this!

I like how this is specially formulated to give our labs what they need at this time of their lives. The unique shape of the food has helped to slow them down as they eat and I would definitely recommend this food to my friends for their dogs.

My Labs look great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this food because I had heard about it from other breeders. I was a bit skeptical at first because I loved the ingredient list of my current food and my dogs were doing great on it. Well, I decided to give it a try and I was amazed! I thought my Labs just didn’t have the greatest coats (as in a smooth non-abundant coat). I was shocked to find that my Labs did indeed have coats and the one I thought had a decent coat, had even more coat! The only dog who can’t eat the Labrador Retriever food is my one Lab who gets hotspots like crazy if she eats grains. My other dogs look great, are healthy, and look forward to their food at each feeding.

My dog love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using its 30kg pack since 2-3 years and my dog just love, he doesn't like any other but only this one, I've also tried pedigree and other brands as well, when we brought him but he just smells it and goes away, now since I've shifted to Royal Canin, he's just in love with it. Also, this doesn't smell bad or mess up. Happy to have it!

Breed specific is impressive

It agrees very well with my 11 yr. old lab mix who was a shelter return when we adopted her at age 6 yrs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 17# bag and it lasted my 60# almost a month! She loved every bite, but really what Lab doesn’t love everything food. Smelled good.

Superb Nutrition!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fed Royal Canin for years to my West Highland Terriers and Yorkie. We adopted an adult 4 year old Labrador Retriever 8 weeks ago from our local Animal Shelter. He was in rough shape, riddled with fleas, dull drab coat, losing hair and about 10 lbs underweight. We brougt him home, treated him for the fleas and the skin infection that he had and started feeding Royal Canin (Labrador blend). Well, by our current pictures, he is a new boy. He loves his food, and manages to occasionally sneak some bits of the food meant for the others! He has a beautiful coat, healthy teeth, and a brilliant set of eyes. Thank you for great nutrition for our newest pack member! We are now at the point where we will have to increase his runs or put him on the treadmill!. LOL

Low calorie treasure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because Labs have a ravenous appetite, it nice to find a lower calorie alternative. The kibble shape is a little different so the use of a slo-bowl was a little difficult

Great Kibble for my Lab

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is a very fast eater, and this food really helped slow her down. She used to finish a bowl in five seconds, and this helped her to slow her eating. It also has benefits unique to labs. Highly recommend.

Love their food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had Labradors since 1977 and use to show and hunt them. We have always fed premium food, but we would have to switch brands, because they would get tired of eating the same brand. Almost 12 years ago we got a puppy from a breeder in Canada and they fed Royal Canin. We started feeding our other dogs Royal Canin once the puppy got on adult food. They have never gotten tired of eating this food and will eat the food before other treats, because we have done experiments by putting something different down and a piece of Royal Canin and our dogs will eat the canin first. The only problem I have with the food is cost since we are on fixed income.
