While talking with a company Demo representitive, it confirmed my decision to stay with this product that represents the quality that I want for my dogs. The dogs are doing extremely well in this product and are very healthy.

12 Sep 2019Cool design but did nit work for my dog
I appreciate the apparent research and science behind these foods and the breed-specific design; unfortunately this did not work for my dog. We have a lab mix who eats everything so he was happy to eat this kibble, but it gave him horrible gas and loose stools. We finished a bag hoping his digestive system would adjust, but saw no improvement. Also the donut shape was not actually helpful at all in making him chew or eat more slowly. I think for dogs who gobble, each kibble would have to be the size of a real donut to get them to chew haha. I also don’t like that it’s meat by-products rather than meat.
(We saw the same issues with the boxer kibble for our other dog.)

We have been feeding Royal Canin Lab blend for almost a year. We have had some weight gain in all three labs and have had to cut back to the minimum. New bag just arrived and after feeding one day, we have two very sick labs with stomach issues and a nice vet bill. Hoping to get the food tested but for now, no more RC for my dogs.

I breed English Labrador retrievers, and the Royal Canon Puppy, and adult formulas are the best food possible. The difference in their coats, eyes, teeth, stool, everything is phenomenal. Everyone tells me how beautiful my dogs are, and even though I'm extremely biased, I AGREE !!

Our two adult Labbies have been on Royal Canin Labrador Retriever dog food for 3 months after vet recommended it as one of the few kibbles that use vitamin E as a large ingredient for preserving the food. So far, they eagerly consume the kibble and are thriving.
